ICP-MS Pre-Sales Application Scientist

Agilent seeks an application scientist with ICP-MS expertise to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for the North American atomic spectroscopy business. The role involves customer demonstrations, technical presentations, method development, and up to 50% travel throughout the US.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales technical support and competitive analysis for sales teams
- Perform sample analyses and system demonstrations for prospective customers
- Present technical advances at professional conferences and webinars
- Develop technical sales strategies with product specialists and account managers
- Contribute to application notes and peer-reviewed publications highlighting ICP-MS platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree
- 3+ years operating ICP-MS or ICP-QQQ instruments
- Knowledge of ICP-MS applications in environmental, semiconductor, food, or life sciences
- Hands-on experience with ultra-trace metals analysis
- Experience with EPA, FDA, USP, ASTM, or AOAC analytical methodologies
- Strong technical writing and oral presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and travel up to 50% within the US
Compensation: $105,075–$175,125 base plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits
