Adjunct English Instructor

Job Responsibilities Responsibilities Teach a diverse student body at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or at one of the college’s six county centers located in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick. Utilize instructional technology and apply a variety of effective teaching methods in daytime, evening, online, and dual‑credit courses offered with local high schools. Plan, manage, and deliver course instruction in accordance with established syllabi. Follow all EPA and OSHA regulations that pertain to the program. Participate in college functions as needed. Apply teaching practices that support continuous improvement of both the program and the college. Serve as a professional team member who supports the mission and vision of the college while performing duties with the highest level of quality and service. Minimum and Additional Requirements Master’s degree in Psychology or Social Work is required, or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in a qualifying field (or any combination of the qualifying fields).
