Automotive Technician- Libertyville, IL
Our team at McGrath Acura of Libertyville is rapidly growing. We have a brand new state of the art facility, and we are looking to hire a select few technicians to continue the growth with us. Our goal-oriented work environment, combined with great support and friendly atmosphere helps our staff to perform at their highest and advance in their careers. Duties
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose causes of any malfunction and perform repair
- Ability to handle a busy work environment
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
- Document work performed
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Customer service focused
- Focused on fixing repairs right the first time
- Ability to apply logical thinking and decision making based on procedures and guidelines supplied in the various task assignments
- Skill to perform numerous tasks as requested
- Basic computer skills
Experience
- Experience with working on variety of car brands
- 2+ years of automotive experience required
- Prior service shop experience is a must.
- ASE certified is a plus
- European make experience
- Audi, VW, Mercedes, BMW experience is a plus
