Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a temporary assignment in Irvine, California. These positions are 52-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Location: Irvine, California

Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5

Term: 52-week assignment with the potential for extension

Pay Rate: $113 - $122/hr

Responsibilities for a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP):

Provide family practice nurse practitioner services in an Integrative Health Institute setting

Handle patient intake for adult patient population

Perform gastroenterology histories and evaluations

Assist with prescriptions and treatment planning

Manage referrals as appropriate

Interpret tests, procedures, and radiographic studies

Apply Functional Medicine and Integrative Health principles in patient care

Receive training and apply knowledge of Integrative Gastroenterology

See 10-12 patients per day on a full-time, Monday through Friday schedule

Work 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting

Collaborate with support staff including MDs and other APPs within the department

Maintain board certification and valid state licensure

Maintain active DEA registration

Maintain current BLS certification

Maintain a minimum of 2 years of experience in Functional Medicine or Integrative Health

Comply with COVID-19 vaccine and booster requirements with no exemptions

Comply with flu vaccine requirements with no exemptions

Participate in a locums-to-permanent interview process including two virtual and one onsite interview

Commit to a permanent role following the locums contract period of up to one year
