Medical Receptionist
CENTER FOR PREVENTIVE MEDICINE PC
Our independent internal medicine practice is seeking a friendly, dependable, organized medical receptionist to help patients feel welcome and keep front-office operations running smoothly. Responsibilities include: Greeting patients and completing check-in and checkout. Scheduling appointments, confirming visits, and following up on cancellations and missed appointments. Answering phones, documenting messages, and routing clinical requests to the appropriate staff. Verifying insurance information and providing referral requirements. Collecting authorized copayments and payments. Managing forms, faxes, scanning , medical records; assisting patients with prior authorizations to access medications and imaging We value clear communication, accuracy, punctuality, patient confidentiality, and consistent follow-through. Candidates should be comfortable multitasking and working cooperatively with a small team.
