Looking for a full time medical assistant/receptionist to work at our podiatry medical office.
Job would include learning both the front office (receptionist) as well as learning the back office (medical assistant) duties.
Front office duties include: Scheduling patients appointments, collecting co-payments, check in/check out of patients, confirming insurance benefits over the phone.
Back office duties include: Rooming patients and taking brief medical history, prepping patients for minor procedures done in office, assisting in taking x rays.
Previous experience in the field a bonus but is not required. We can train you on the job. Spanish speaking also a bonus but not required.
