Echo Ultrasound Tech - Cardiac Sonographer

Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist in Montrose, CO. Use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce detailed cardiac images for interpretation by the healthcare team. The role includes performing transthoracic echocardiograms, stress and dobutamine studies, carotid and vascular studies, assisting with transesophageal exams, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• RDCS registration (ARDMS or CCI acceptable).
• BLS certification required on hire.
• ACLS preferred.
• Experience performing transthoracic echocardiograms, stress/dobutamine echocardiograms, carotid, venous, and arterial studies preferred.
• Ability to perform high-level disinfection of TEE probes and assist with TEE exams.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and ultrasound imaging agents per manufacturer guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds routinely and assist with heavier patient transfers as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform fine motor tasks.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of clinical experience as a cardiac sonographer preferred but not mandatory.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 06:30 - 17:00.
• Typical work pattern: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday schedule as noted.
