About the Position

Seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in an inpatient hospital setting in Petoskey, Michigan. The physician will provide inpatient cardiology care, perform and interpret cardiac diagnostic studies, and collaborate with a dedicated team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

Schedule

· Call Coverage: 24-hour call, 6:00 AM–6:00 AM

· Weekday Coverage: Monday–Friday, as scheduled

· Weekend Coverage: Required

· Gratis Hours: Weekday call shifts must include 8 hours of gratis coverage

Clinical Responsibilities

· Provide inpatient cardiology consultations and ongoing patient management.

· Perform and interpret echocardiograms.

· Perform and interpret treadmill stress tests.

· Perform and interpret chemical stress tests.

· Evaluate diagnostic findings and develop appropriate treatment plans.

· Collaborate with three inpatient Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who support the cardiology service.

· Coordinate care with the inpatient team to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements

· Board Certified in Cardiology

· Active Michigan medical license
