We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Staff Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support our Federal Systems Team and ensure the security, compliance, and integrity of our classified information systems. This is an on-site role within a high-performance classified IT environment.The Staff ISSO will play a critical role in safeguarding systems by implementing and maintaining cybersecurity controls, supporting system accreditation, and ensuring compliance with DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) security requirements. This role is central to enabling secure operations across multiple classification levels, including environments leveraging Cross Domain Solutions (CDS). What you'll do: Information Assurance & Security Compliance:Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls in accordance with RMF and NIST 800-53Ensure compliance with DoD and IC requirementsReview configurations, audit logs, and controls regularlyRMF & Accreditation Support:Support RMF lifecycle activitiesMaintain SSPs, POA&Ms, and related artifactsCoordinate with ISSM, AO, and stakeholdersContinuous Monitoring & Risk Management:Perform vulnerability management and patch trackingAnalyze scan results (ACAS/Nessus)Report system risk postureIncident Response & Audit Support:Support incident response activitiesAssist with audits and inspectionsMaintain audit-ready documentationCross Domain Solutions (CDS) Security Oversight:Support CDS accreditation and complianceValidate configurations and data flowsCoordinate with CDS administratorsSystem Hardening & Configuration Management:Ensure STIG complianceMaintain secure baselinesReview configuration changesCollaboration & Advisory:Work with engineers and admins on secure designProvide guidance on MLS environmentsRequired qualifications:8 years in cybersecurity or ISSO roles in classified environmentsExperience with RMF and NIST 800-53Familiarity with STIGs and vulnerability toolsPreferred qualifications:IC or SAP environment experienceeMASS familiarityScripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash)Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience$120,000 - $190,000 a year#LI-ML2#LDFull-time regular employee offer package:Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + EquityTemporary employee offer package:Pay within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment)Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
