Position Overview:

We are seeking an Operations Manager who delivers the best of both worlds: a polished professional on the front end, and a physically hardworking leader behind the scenes. This is a unique 40/60 split role. You will spend 40% of your time managing HR operations by handling dynamic staffing, optimizing personnel assignments, and driving team productivity. The other 60% is pure, high-velocity execution where you will roll up your sleeves to fulfill orders on a fast-paced floor. If you want a desk job or standard labor, this isn't it. We need an agile leader who leads by example.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and ensure departments are properly staffed. 

• Audit personnel quotas to maintain peak operational efficiency.

• Assess new hires and trainees to identify their primary talents. 

• Oversee role assignments, onboarding processes, and the transition to full job responsibilities.

• Oversee the creation and execution of training flows, apprenticeships, and specialized training programs

• Conduct regular check-ins to drive employee retention. 

• Maintain personnel files, contracts, and legal documentation. 

• Lead the daily operations of our fulfillment center, ensuring production, shipping, and receiving goals are consistently met.

• Develop and implement process improvements that increase productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

What we’re looking for

• At least 1 year of experience in an HR role

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or shipping role

• A visionary leader who can motivate and inspire others toward a common goal. 

• Proven experience in workforce management, HR operations, or personnel leadership.

• Able to weigh statistical data with sound judgment to make objective personnel decisions.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace and digital organization.

• Expert in de-escalation; able to confront difficult situations and people calmly and effectively.

Pay: $22 an hour + bonus potential

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Work Location: Lexington, Kentucky
