Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and report maintenance, access control, and/or security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access in accordance with site protocols, and help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Support emergency and evacuation procedures, assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic when needed, and complete required reports related to daily activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
