Position: Security Officer Patrol Specialist — Titusville, FL Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.91 / Hour Job Schedule: See below for the scheduled shifts Schedule Wednesday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Friday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and report maintenance, access control, and security-related issues. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access in accordance with site protocols, and deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and professional interaction. Support emergency and evacuation procedures, assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic when needed, and complete required reports related to daily activities and incidents. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles. High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
