About the Role

The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President for Asset-Based Financing Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational aspects of private client mandates, with a key focus on maintaining and providing prompt and accurate service to both external clients and internal departments. This role involves close interaction with clients and agents on position updates and trade-related issues, as well as daily portfolio monitoring. The AVP will also be involved in the setup of new structures within the private whole loan space, providing allocations to clients for proper funding and settlement, and overseeing the booking, capturing, and reconciling of trades. Additionally, the role includes reviewing and overseeing daily cash and position reconciliations, researching and resolving transaction breaks, and monitoring the private deal pipeline to ensure client liquidity and timely fundings. Applicants for this position should have a minimum of 6 years' of experience in structured products or a middle-office role, with a working knowledge of security operations related to loans, fixed income products, private assets, and the trade lifecycle. Strong Excel skills are essential. The role requires the ability to work closely with deal teams, conduct ad hoc reporting, and ensure operational readiness for client liquidity. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
