Mail Sorter / Mail Processing Associate

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Location: Federal Way, WA Pay Rate: $21

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mail Processing Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and organizing incoming mail and ensuring each piece is placed in the correct designated location.

This position involves a highly repetitive process that requires strong concentration, accuracy, and the ability to maintain focus throughout the day. The ideal candidate enjoys routine work, follows established procedures, and takes pride in completing tasks with precision.

Responsibilities

• Sort and organize incoming mail accurately
• Verify mail is routed to the correct department, box, or destination
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks
• Follow established procedures and workflow guidelines
• Meet productivity and quality expectations
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Report discrepancies or issues to supervisors as needed

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to remain focused during repetitive tasks
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic organizational skills
• Previous mailroom, warehouse, production, or sorting experience is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
• Ability to lift and move mail trays or boxes as needed
