Overview
Occupational Therapist, Acute Care travel assignment in Zanesville, OH. Start date 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with daytime shifts. Weekly pay range: $2,813–$2,951 per week. Work setting is an inpatient acute care program operating in a clinic-based environment. This is a Travel - Temporary Assignment with a 13-week contract, requiring Day shifts with potential weekend coverage.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for adult and geriatric inpatients, including post-operative orthopedic/joint replacement cases, and manage a spectrum of acute diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, endurance, and safety; monitor progress and adjust goals as appropriate.
- Document patient care in the EMR (EPIC) and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; participate in rounds and discharge planning.
- Support patients and families with education on recovery, home adaptations, and progression of therapy to maximize independence.
- Work with medically complex and sometimes intubated patients in the acute care setting, following hospital and therapy best practices; maintain safety and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Active Ohio OT license and OT registry; license cannot be in process
- BLS certification required
- 2 years of acute care experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Ability to work in an inpatient acute care setting; weekend coverage may be required
