Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic setting under physician supervision
• Triage, assess, and document patient conditions; prepare patients for exams and procedures
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and non-complex procedures within scope
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered; monitor for adverse reactions
• Document care in the electronic health record and coordinate referrals as needed
• Promote patient safety, professional image, and efficient clinic workflow

Requirements

• Current Iowa RN license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Experience in a physician’s office or outpatient clinic setting preferred
• Ability to perform duties in a clinic environment with regular attendance
• Willingness to meet health and employment requirements as specified by the employer
