Full Time Professionals US 7 days ago Requisition ID: 1484 The Executive Vice President, Leader | Healthcare Banking is responsible for building, launching, and leading Third Coast Bank’s Healthcare Banking vertical within Corporate Banking. This is a platform-building opportunity with responsibility for establishing the Bank’s healthcare strategy, developing its market presence, originating its initial client relationships, building a high-performing team, and creating a scalable and profitable healthcare banking business. The EVP, Leader will serve as the face of Third Coast Bank’s Healthcare Banking business, both internally and externally. This individual will be the Bank’s senior healthcare banking representative in the marketplace and will be responsible for developing Third Coast Bank’s identity, reputation, and relationships within the healthcare industry. This is not an inherited business or portfolio management role. The successful individual will have the opportunity and responsibility to build the Healthcare Banking platform from its foundation—establishing target markets and client segments, generating new relationships, recruiting and developing talent, creating industry connectivity, and partnering across the Bank to develop the capabilities necessary to support a growing healthcare franchise. The EVP, Leader will initially lead a focused Healthcare Banking team and will be expected to expand the team and platform commensurate with business growth. The role carries responsibility for the financial performance and strategic direction of Healthcare Banking, including P&L accountability, business development, client strategy, talent development, credit quality, and long-term franchise value. The position reports to the Market Executive | Corporate Banking and will work closely with Corporate Banking leadership and partners across Third Coast Bank to build Healthcare Banking into a meaningful contributor to the Bank’s long-term growth strategy . Healthcare Banking Leadership & Strategy Build and execute Third Coast Bank’s Healthcare Banking strategy from the ground up, establishing the target client segments, geographic priorities, product capabilities, calling strategy, and growth objectives necessary to create a scalable and profitable business. Serve as the Bank’s senior healthcare banking leader and principal representative to the healthcare industry, establishing a clear and credible presence for Third Coast Bank in the marketplace. Develop the initial client base and pipeline necessary to establish the Healthcare Banking platform and create sustainable long-term growth. Establish the financial, operating, and strategic framework for the Healthcare Banking business, with P&L accountability as the platform develops. Identify the talent, infrastructure, product capabilities, and internal resources required to support the vertical at each stage of growth. Partner closely with the Market Executive | Corporate Banking and Head of Corporate Banking to establish short- and long-term priorities for the healthcare business. Develop and execute a multi-year growth strategy designed to transition Healthcare Banking from an emerging vertical into a significant and differentiated Third Coast Bank franchise. Business Development & Market Leadership Personally lead the initial business development effort and establish the foundational client relationships upon which the Healthcare Banking platform will be built. Originate and develop relationships with healthcare companies and organizations across targeted segments of the industry. Build senior-level relationships with CEOs, CFOs, owners, investors, private equity sponsors, healthcare executives, attorneys, accountants, consultants, and other centers of influence. Establish a meaningful referral ecosystem capable of generating sustained healthcare banking opportunities. Represent Third Coast Bank at healthcare industry conferences, market events, client meetings, and other external forums as the primary market-facing executive for Healthcare Banking. Develop Third Coast Bank’s reputation as a sophisticated, responsive, relationship-oriented financial partner to healthcare organizations. Maintain personal responsibility for significant strategic relationships while progressively developing a team capable of broadening the Bank’s healthcare client base and market reach. Team & Platform Development Lead an initial Healthcare Banking team and build the organizational structure required to support the business as it scales. Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing Healthcare Banking professionals as production, client demand, and market opportunity warrant additional investment. Establish clear production, relationship, profitability, credit, and performance expectations for the Healthcare Banking team. Determine future talent and resource requirements in partnership with Corporate Banking leadership. Build a culture centered on entrepreneurship, accountability, collaboration, disciplined growth, exceptional client service, and long-term relationship development. Create a team structure capable of supporting the continued expansion and institutionalization of Healthcare Banking within Third Coast Bank. Establish a high-quality healthcare loan portfolio through disciplined origination, underwriting, structuring, pricing, and relationship selection. Partner closely with Credit Administration, underwriting, portfolio management, and other risk partners to develop appropriate structures for healthcare transactions. Ensure growth occurs within the Bank’s established risk appetite, credit policies, concentration limits, and return expectations. Maintain leadership oversight of credit quality and emerging risks as the healthcare portfolio develops and matures. Balance the objective of building scale with disciplined capital deployment and appropriate risk-adjusted returns. Ensure new relationships meet appropriate standards for structure, pricing, profitability, credit quality, deposit opportunity, and total relationship value. Measures of Success Success in this role will be measured by the ability to create enterprise value through the establishment and growth of Third Coast Bank’s Healthcare Banking franchise, including: Establishing Third Coast Bank as a credible and increasingly recognized healthcare banking partner. Building a high-quality pipeline and converting that pipeline into profitable client relationships. Developing a diversified portfolio of healthcare loans, deposits, treasury relationships, and fee-generating opportunities. Achieving sustainable revenue and P&L growth while maintaining disciplined credit quality and appropriate risk-adjusted returns. Recruiting and developing the talent necessary to scale the Healthcare Banking platform. Building meaningful relationships with healthcare executives, investors, sponsors, advisors, and centers of influence.
