A well established plaintiff's personal injury law firm seeks an associate attorney to join their growing practice!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed and in good standing with the NY Bar
- 1 to 2 years working in a plaintiff's law firm
- Experience with personal injury law experience (auto wrecks, s/f, product liability, medical malpractice, work related injury, etc...)
- Experience negotiating and settling PI claims
- Experience drafting pleadings and motions/oppositions
- Experience defending/conducting depositions is a plus
- Hearings and court conferences is a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Able to maintain in high stress situations
- Able to support trial attorneys
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Positive attitude and able to motivate support staff in a positive way.
