Jackson South is a 262‑bed, full‑service acute care hospital offering Level II trauma services, 24/7 emergency care, advanced surgical capabilities, and a broad range of specialties including cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology and neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, urology, vascular surgery, and more. As a vital extension of JHS’s academic and tertiary strengths, Jackson South delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care to the South Miami‑Dade region. Leadership Scope: The SVP & CEO is the accountable executive leader for all hospital operations, reporting to the SVP & CEO of the Regional Hospital Network & Physician Services. This leader sets the strategic direction for Jackson South, ensuring operational excellence, clinical distinction, and a people‑first culture.
