Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) position on a Medical Surgical Floor located in Lafayette, Indiana. This role involves providing patient care within a diverse Med/Surg and Trauma Neuro Intensive Care Unit environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled for night shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

• Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor (MS)
• Shift Hours: 12 hours, Nights from 06/27/2026 starting date, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN State licensure, ACLS, BLS, NIH, pass EKG competency for rhythm interpretation, EMR - EPIC, no minimum experience required, located in Indiana
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Neuro ICU experience, Certification in ACLS and BLS, and NIH
• Additional Information: Candidates should possess excellent teamwork skills, attention to detail, and be team players. Dress code includes navy blue scrubs. Unit emphasizes an inclusive environment, exceptional teamwork, and has recognized efforts toward quality measures.
• Type of staff: Travel RNs and local CNAs and sitters are most recruited for this role.
• Equipment used: Ventilators, CRRT, monitors, IV pumps, etc.
• Typical procedures performed: TLC, intubation, CRRT, TTM, Stroke tPA, Foley catheter, CPR, defibrillation/cardioversion, TEE.
• Personality fit: Easy-going, attentive to detail, proactive in asking questions, team-oriented.
