About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead one of its senior living communities. The successful candidate will be the community leader, responsible for the financial, human resource, and operations management. This role is pivotal in ensuring a warm, compassionate, and secure atmosphere that encourages independence and activity for all residents while maintaining a profitable operation. Key responsibilities include overseeing all community operations and departments, managing a large team, building relationships with residents and families, and working closely with the Sales and Marketing Director to achieve 100% occupancy. The Executive Director will also be involved in budget development, holding regular meetings, and must be available for on-call, 24/7 duty. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company's senior living community should have a minimum of 3 years' management experience in the senior housing industry, with a preference for a college degree. Advanced computer skills, excellent communication, a desire to work with senior adults, and strong leadership abilities are essential. The role requires the ability to solve complex operational and people problems, as well as experience in overseeing the financial success of multiple departments. The candidate must be willing to obtain a state administrator's certification within 90 days of employment if the role involves managing an assisted living building. A valid driver's license is also necessary for the position.
