• Deliver specialized mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to enhance clients’ emotional health and resilience.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify clients' unique challenges, stressors, and aspirations, allowing for tailored mindfulness practices in your treatment plans.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques aimed at fostering self-awareness, emotional regulation, and stress relief.
\n
• Facilitate group workshops focused on mindfulness, stress management techniques, and resilience training to encourage community and shared learning among participants.

• Incorporate mindfulness practices into one-on-one therapy sessions that address specific mental health concerns and contribute to overall client growth and wellness.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and external health care providers to ensure a comprehensive, cohesive approach to client treatment.

• Maintain up-to-date, detailed documentation of client progress, the effectiveness of interventions employed, and to outline strategic treatment plans.
\n
• Engage in personal mindfulness practices and ongoing professional development to enhance your skills in MBSR and therapeutic approaches.

In this role, you will primarily work with adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and adjustment difficulties. Your focus will be on utilizing mindfulness as a transformative approach, guiding clients toward impactful changes in their mental health and quality of life.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• A strong foundation in therapeutic practices with proficiency in implementing mindfulness techniques in clinical settings.

• Exceptional communication abilities, fostering a warm and supportive atmosphere conducive to effective therapy.

• Demonstrated experience with mindfulness-based interventions, particularly in the context of mental health therapy.

• Previous engagement in workshop facilitation and group counseling will be considered an asset.

• A commitment to continued education and professional development in mind-body approaches and psychological wellness strategies.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
