IT Project ManagerCary, NC, United States$ 75.00 - 76.00 (US Dollar)Or refer someoneAbout The JobIT Project Manager needs 5+ years experienceIT Project Manager requires:IT Project managerIT Project Manager duties:Participate in IT portfolio management activities, collaborating with both IT and business unit leadersPartner with business managers and process owners to identify opportunities for process and system improvements, including initial development of business cases and scoping of projectsReview project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available departmental resources to various phases of projectManage medium to large-sized internal and external systems/application development projects within assigned areas from inception to successful implementation: establish work plan for each phase of project, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks define realistic project objectives, scope, and level of effort develop project strategies and plans, and identify the methods (waterfall, agile, etc?) and tools required for the project assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnelInitiate projects, keep projects on track and on budget, and resolve issues with customers monitor progress against plan provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle create status reports and modify schedules or plans as required present project status and risks/issues to IT and business leadership on frequent cadenceEscalate any project issues including timing, budget, resources, scope and more, to upper management in a timely mannerCollaborate closely with the Process Excellence team on enterprise-wide projectsPrepare project status reports and/or project portfolio summaries for management, business unit leaders, and IT managementPerform customer surveys ensuring customer satisfaction remains high
