Role Summary The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist supports a variety of recruiting processes within an assigned functional area, building relationships with business leaders and talent acquisition leadership. This role will also support recruiting activities across the recruiting life cycle from needs analysis to onboarding, specializing in one or more steps in the process. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn. Autonomy & Decision-Making: Makes decisions on assigned areas of responsibility, provides recommendations to supervisor and refers all exceptions to supervisor, as needed Career Path: Talent Acquisition Manager Key Role Responsibilities - Core Facilitates established recruiting processes within candidate populations, ensuring a positive and efficient recruitment experience Collaborates with functional talent acquisition leadership to pre-screen candidates in high volume requisitions Utilizes Applicant Tracking System to ensure job postings, documentation of candidate activity and offer data is accurate Collects feedback from interview participants, combines and reviews data and provide summaries to decision-makers Creates an exceptional candidate experience through each touchpoint of the recruiting cycle Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner to increase candidate interest Participates in job fairs, recruiting events, and other types of direct outreach to build employment brand awareness and candidate pools Builds relationships with other HR team members and Business Leaders, developing understanding of business goals, strengths and opportunities Partners with Talent Acquisition Leadership and internal HR team to ensure compliance with regulations and internal company policies and procedures Establishes relationships and rapport with assigned clients to gain joint understanding of business goals, strengths, and opportunities by meeting on a regular basis and providing timely follow up on issues/concerns Implements established sourcing strategy and solutions to deliver a qualifies and timely pipeline of talent to meet emerging business needs and address anticipated talent gaps Key Role Responsibilities - Additional Core In addition, this role is responsible for: Specializes in one or more areas of talent acquisition, providing support and expertise to talent acquisition managers and business leaders Markets JE Dunn as an employer of choice to candidates at all stages of the recruitment process Assists leadership with talent acquisition reporting including requisition status updates, yearly metrics for the assigned function and analyzing trends Develops understanding of organizational dynamics that influence successful hiring practices Supports high-volume recruiting efforts through implementing efficient processes and recommending improvements when needed May serve as primary point of contact for hiring managers and business leaders on certain requisitions, owning end-to-end recruitment and outcomes Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner Communication skills, verbal and written - Intermediate Proficiency in MS Office – Intermediate Organizational skills – Intermediate Knowledge of talent acquisition practices, processes, and solutions Facilitation skills with the ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, peers, subordinates and other members of management Strong presentation skills both verbal and written including the ability to communicate business and technical information clearly Strong project management, organizing and planning skills Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications or related field (Preferred) In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered Experience 5+ years of progressive experience in recruiting or talent management (Required) Working Environment Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds May require periods of travel Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet business needs Normal office environment Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen Occasional activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen, Climbing, Pushing, Pulling Benefits Information The benefits package aligned to this position is Professional Non-Union.
