About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg/Tele Float Pool Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7pm - 7am) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. NIHSS preferred and required upon hire during orientation. Must-Have: Epic experience required. Description: Experience caring for diverse patient populations and adapting to multiple clinical environments is strongly preferred. Patient ratio typically 1:4 - 6, based on unit acuity. Schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays. Nurses will call before each shift for unit assignment. Report directly to the assigned unit and participate in the unit safety huddle and standard workflows. Assignments may include adult Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units, ED Holding, or IMC. Occasional mid-shift reassignments may occur based on operational needs. Patient population includes adult patients with a broad range of diagnoses, including general medical-surgical, telemetry, neurology, stroke, orthopedics/trauma, elective joint and spine procedures, skeletal traction, and external fixation.
