Turret Operator

We are seeking a skilled Turret Operator to join our team. The role involves setting up and operating turret machines to carry out various machining operations such as drilling, tapping, and reaming.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate turret machines to perform drilling, tapping, reaming, and other machining operations.
• Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and clamping of workpieces.
• Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments to maintain accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensions, quality, and defects using measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Complete production documentation and report any issues to supervisors.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2+ years of experience setting up and operating machines, or specialized training and/or certification may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings.
• Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• General labor skills including labeling, turret, and press brake operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rolling Meadows, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
