Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

$2325.60/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients labor progress and monitor fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and interventions such as induction, steroid injections, and other procedures related to labor and delivery.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Assist with delivery procedures, including vaginal births and cesarean sections, maintaining sterile technique.
  
  
• 
  Document all patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EPIC).
  
  
• 
  Float to other units or serve as a Patient Care Tech (PCT) as needed during low census periods.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license.
  
  
• 
  Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
  
  
• 
  Obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications.
  
  
• 
  Possess Labor triage experience and OR circulator skills, including C-sections and other obstetric procedures.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, and invasive placements like IUPC/FSE.
