Electrical Panel Assembler

Location: Auburn Hills, MI (On-site)
Pay: $20.00/hour
Type: Contract / Temporary (Full-time)
Openings: 20

Schedule

Summer hours (through 9/5):

• Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Non-summer hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Friday: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Breaks include  two 15-minute breaks and  one 30-minute lunch .

Position Summary

This is an entry-level opportunity supporting the  layout and assembly of electrical panels to meet customer specifications. Ideal for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review build sheets and production documentation
• Assemble electrical plates and enclosures based on build prep instructions
• Install electrical components and controllers per documentation/prints
• Wire components using correct color/gauge, ferrules, cables, tags, and required identification per prints
• Support teammates to maintain a positive team environment
• Follow quality standards, procedures, and safety requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Technical/vocational training is a plus
