Location: Houston, TX 77030
Job Type: 13-Week Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift: Day Shift
Guaranteed Hours: Non-guaranteed
Uniform: Hot Pink Scrubs
Pay: $2,500–$2,600/week
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to perform mammography and radiographic procedures used to detect abnormalities, assist physicians with diagnosis, and support quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform mammography examinations and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Properly position and prepare patients for mammography procedures.
- Operate mammography equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and established facility protocols.
- Provide direct patient care while maintaining patient comfort, privacy, and confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation.
- Follow all hospital, regulatory, and facility policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Previous mammography experience required.
- Strong patient-care and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical environment.
- ARRT R.T.(R)(M) certification required.
- MRT license from the Texas Medical Board (TMB) required.
- BLS certification required.
