divh2Injection Molding Machine Operator/h2pEnsure injection molding machines are properly set-up and run to customer quality standards and meet all production goals./ppMake necessary connections of the electrical, hydraulic and cooling systems to the mold; insure that the correct plastic material, plastic melt temperatures, shot size, injection speed and pressures are set; and cycle the machine and adjust the molding parameters until acceptable parts are produced./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliChange molds in an effective, safe manner./liliAssure that all safety and housekeeping procedures are followed./liliReport all quality and scrap issues to the Production Supervisor/Lead Process Engineer as soon as possible./liliRemove mold and ensure both sides are cleaned./liliClean MAG plate on both sides./liliAssist in the development and execution of the plan for the Mold and Color Changes working with the team leaders and assigned leaders for the area./liliSets up machines (assembly equipment) associated with mold including changing the RJG to new mold that has been set./liliMaintains a clean and safe mold storage area./liliMaintains all mold change equipment./liliReports damaged equipment to the Production Supervisor/Technical Manager./liliUses a crane in a safe manner to change molds./liliWears proper protective equipment as required./liliComplete Mold Change Checklist./liliEnsure the pit is cleaned out and all previous parts are tagged and removed./liliMaintains Gaylord and hopper levels./liliEnsures that all material gaylords are covered./liliEnsures all material is properly labeled./liliEnsures that material is stored in the correct area./liliEmpties and cleans grinders/blenders./li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliMinimum of 3 years experience in injection molding./liliMust pass a general mechanical aptitude test/liliMust be able to lift up to 100 lbs/liliWillingness to work required hours overtime, weekend work and early morning startups is likely/li/ulh3Education:/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent/li/ulpWe offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, ADD, tuition reimbursement, and more.
