This position requires proficiency in dental terminology, infection control protocols, and familiarity with Eaglesoft. We are a fast-paced office, the ability to multitask is essential. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using dental software systems. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Ensure compliance with infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize office efficiency. Assist in the sterilization of instruments and equipment as per industry standards. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided. Familiarity with medical terminology and dental terminology is essential. Experience with Eaglesoft system is a plus. Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols is required.
