Speech Therapist, Acute Care Clinical Fellowship (Adult)

Position Summary Clinical Fellowship position to provide diagnosis and treatment to individuals with speech, language, voice or swallowing disorders in adult acute care. May participate in scholarly activities. May be required to provide weekend and holiday coverage for inpatients. Location Omaha, NE Work Schedule No remote/telecommuting opportunity. Education & Experience Required Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or obtain within the next nine months). Required Experience: None required. Preferred Education: None. Preferred Experience: Experience in a hospital setting providing speech pathology services and ability to perform modified barium swallow studies. Licensure Required: Must be able to obtain temporary State of Nebraska Speech Pathology license within 30 days of hire date. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in individuals at a variety of ages. Ability to interact with other health personnel and families. Preferred Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Experience in a hospital setting providing speech pathology services and ability to perform modified barium swallow studies.
