Job Description

The Development Manager will report into the Senior Vice President of Development and play a key role in delivering a pipeline of multifamily and mixed-use developments from acquisition through to disposition.

• Lead feasibility analysis and development execution across complex residential and mixed-use projects
• Conduct detailed market research including rental trends, supply pipelines, and comparable asset analysis
• Perform financial underwriting and scenario modelling to assess investment viability
• Manage zoning, entitlements, and permitting processes to ensure projects are development-ready
• Oversee due diligence activities including environmental, geotechnical, and cost validation assessments
• Collaborate with internal design, construction, and capital markets teams to deliver projects on time and on budget
• Build and manage relationships with municipalities, consultants, investors, and external stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

For the Development Manager - Multifamily & Mixed-Use we are seeking:

• 6+ years' experience within real estate, including at least 4 years in a development-focused role
• Proven track record delivering complex multifamily or mixed-use developments through full lifecycle
• Strong financial modelling and underwriting capability
• Experience managing entitlements, zoning changes, and permitting processes
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external partners effectively
• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related discipline
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and external partners
