Job Title: Assembler Job Description This role focuses on the mechanical assembly of dental chair bases in a production environment. You will use hand and power tools, follow blueprints and diagrams, and handle materials that require frequent lifting. Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly of dental chair bases according to established procedures and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and prints to assemble components accurately. Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process. Lift and move components and materials weighing up to approximately 30 pounds throughout the shift. Use precision measuring devices, such as calipers and pin gauges, to verify dimensions and ensure components meet specifications. Work extensively while standing and moving around the production area to complete assembly tasks. Operate and work with computers as needed for work instructions, documentation, and basic data entry related to assembly activities. Collaborate with assemblers and other team members to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow. Follow all safety guidelines, maintain a clean and organized work area, and report any issues or defects promptly. Essential Skills Hands-on assembly experience in a production or similar environment. Proficiency using hand and power tools in an assembly or construction setting. Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting of materials and components, including items up to approximately 30 pounds. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, or technical prints. Previous experience working with precision measuring devices such as calipers and pin gauges. Comfort working with computers for basic tasks such as viewing instructions and entering data. Ability to stand and move extensively during the workday to complete assembly tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in construction or a similar trade involving regular use of power tools. Experience in an assembly environment where quality and precision are critical. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newberg, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
