A manufacturing company focused on vehicle access solutions is hiring a Tooling Manager. Located on-site in Milwaukee, the role involves overseeing tooling operations across multiple shifts. This is a 27-52 week engagement. Join our client in leading tooling excellence in automotive manufacturing.

Tooling Manager Responsibilities :

• Lead daily tooling team activities, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for tooling processes and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate on-time, within-budget tooling launches.
• Optimize tooling workflows by standardizing procedures and enhancing capacity.
• Manage resources and proactively respond to demand changes and supply chain issues.

Tooling Manager Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, high-speed machining, and quality standards preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and vendor management skills.
