Diesel Technician

Position Description Ryder is hiring an experienced Mid‑Level Diesel Technician in Baltimore, Maryland. The position offers weekly pay and excellent benefits. Responsibilities Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties Perform standard vehicle maintenance and component inspections Perform preventive maintenance Diagnose standard mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer as applicable Identify root causes of failures/conditions and perform repairs as required Replace defective components as instructed Perform facility maintenance duties Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint once assigned a task Utilize key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available Work in accordance with all federal, provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT) Perform other support duties as required to support operations, including Service Island support Equal Opportunity Employment Ryder is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and drug‑free workplace.
