As a Dispatch Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will coordinate communications, monitor access activity, and support prompt responses to security-related incidents. You will maintain accurate logs, assist with routine patrol coordination, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour Security Experience - +1 YearsValid Driver's LicenseTSA Issued TWIC Job Schedule: DayTimeTue06:00 AM - 06:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, radio traffic, alarms, and routine communications from a dispatch center, documenting activities and relaying information to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, dispatching available personnel and notifying site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, access-related records, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures. Monitor site activity through available systems and communications, helping to deter unauthorized activity and supporting timely response to developing situations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A TSA-issued TWIC is required. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
