Check us out online at actionspineandjoint.comPosition OverviewThe Nurse Practitioner will evaluate and manage patients as part of our integrated clinical team. The ideal candidate is personable, clinically confident, team-oriented, and interested in musculoskeletal and functional healthcare.Primary Responsibilities· Perform new-patient medical evaluations and musculoskeletal/orthopedic examinations· Develop and coordinate appropriate treatment plans· Perform and/or supervise approved medical procedures and injections within scope of practice· Monitor patient progress and modify recommendations when appropriate· Educate patients regarding their condition, treatment options, and expected progress· Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation· Collaborate with chiropractors, rehabilitation staff, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers· Refer patients to appropriate outside specialists or primary care providers when needed· Follow clinic protocols, applicable Tennessee laws, and professional standards of careIdeal Candidate· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build patient trust· Compassionate toward patients dealing with pain and functional limitations· Works well in a multidisciplinary environment and makes confident clinical decisions within scope· Organized and comfortable managing a busy patient schedule· Values conservative, functional, patient-centered healthcare· Willing to learn and become proficient with services offered within the clinic· Self-starter who works independently without requiring significant micromanagementQualifications· Current and unrestricted Tennessee Nurse Practitioner/APRN license· Eligible for professional malpractice coverage· Minimum 3 year of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred· Private-practice or musculoskeletal experience preferred· Experience with joint, trigger-point, or other musculoskeletal injections is a plus· Appropriate prescribing authority and credentials as required for the positionScheduleFULL-TIME / PART-TIME: Part Time to StartDAYS / HOURS: Mon/Wed 8 - 5Some flexibility in scheduling and start date may be available.Compensation & BenefitsSALARY / HOURLY RANGE: $65-$70/hrBENEFITS / PTO / BONUS / INSURANCE / RETIREMENT / CE:To be discussedTraining will be provided regarding Action Spine & Joint's clinical systems, treatment protocols, and services.LocationAction Spine & Joint6410 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209Applicants should live within approximately a 20-mile radius of the clinic.Join Our TeamIf you are a Nurse Practitioner who enjoys working collaboratively, developing relationships with patients, and helping people return to a more active and functional life, we would like to hear from you.Please submit your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io do not call the office, as our phone lines are busy serving patients.Action Spine & Joint is an equal opportunity employer.
