Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care as part of the scrub and circulating team, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical experience.
- Prepare the operating room, position patients appropriately, and maintain strict sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
- Assist surgeons and the perioperative team with instruments, equipment, and counts; monitor patient status intraoperatively and document events accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team; advocate for the patient and uphold ethical standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable professional practice acts and codes of ethics, policies, and procedures, and support service-excellence goals within the patient services framework.
- Assist with room turnover and post-anesthesia transport as needed, contributing to efficient and safe patient flow.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Perioperative or operating room experience, or strong familiarity with perioperative processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and maintain sterile technique
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient safety and professional nursing standards
