Pay & Benefits

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate with surgical teams, surgeons, and anesthesia providers to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Manage and delegate tasks within the multidisciplinary team effectively
• Document all patient interactions and procedures in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control protocols
• Respond swiftly and effectively in emergencies, utilizing ACLS and PALS as needed

What You Need

• Current RN license in Louisiana
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Previous OR or perioperative nursing experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently with good judgment and attention to detail
