About This Role At New Morning Schools, we strive to provide consistent, high-quality childcare to families in Southern New Hampshire! Your time at the before and after school programs will require energy, patience and a spirit of cooperation. The children are either at the beginning or end of their day and caring staff can make all the difference to a child during those important before and after school hours. Your goal each day should be to check in with each child, even if it's just to say hello. Children look up to our Team Members as role models and we want you to make a difference! Our off-site School Age Program is located in the Dunbarton Elementary School We offer flexible schedules within the hours of 1:30-6:00pm Monday - Friday What You’ll Do Daily Activities can be planned by using the provided curriculum book and should consist of large & small group activities, child directed activities, and gross motor games. You must be prepared for all responsibilities including: Helping to maintain a safe environment for children and staff Encouraging positive behavior guidance Greeting parents and children daily Helping to train new staff members as needed Attending monthly staff meetings at your program and the NMS main office Following the day-to-day staff assignments Communicating with the office when needed Being a substitute for staff at another location if needed Requirements 600+ hours of experience or 3+ EDU/ECE college credits At least 17 years of age Nice To Haves 1-2+ years of experience working with school age children CPR/First Aid Certifications Benefits Free school age childcare (if your child attends a school with one of our locations in it) Yearly return bonus/pay increase #J-18808-Ljbffr
