Work Location: New York, NY, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)

Hybrid Schedule: At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. For roles eligible for hybrid work, our standard schedule includes in-office collaboration from Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Any updates to this model will be communicated in advance. Please note that hybrid eligibility and schedules may vary based on business needs and manager expectations.

What you will be doing:

As a Sales Assistant, you will support the Home & Outdoor Sales Team with a primary focus on our closeout & clubs' business. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting both our OXO & Hydro Flask brands and will play a key role in managing and executing initiatives tied to our clubs & closeout channel. You will provide administrative support when preparing for meetings, coordinates samples for customers, and follow up on customer and Sales Representatives requests. Act as the key point-of-contact for the Sales Representatives in the Sales Manager's absence.

• Coordinates presentation materials and appropriate samples for meetings with key retailers. Coordinates the transfer of samples from meeting-to-meeting.
• Creates and/or approves sample orders as well as sample shipments to and from the customer directly.
• Maintains one-on-one relationships with the external customers to meet their needs and further OXO's goals and interests and acts as the point-of-contact in the Sales Manager's absence.
• Assist sales teams with pricing, order processing, and customer inquiries related to discounted items.
• Coordinate with internal teams or external buyers about availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain spreadsheets, help prepare discounted pricing lists and promotional materials, and work with warehouse, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth clearance of inventory.

Skills needed to be successful in this role:

• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written, listening skills.
• Ability to engage with all internal and external stakeholders on matters of sales strategy and support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• 1 + years in a related field
• Demonstrated a high level of sales support
• Proficient with MS Office, most importantly Excel
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

In New York, the standard base pay range for this role is $25 - 30.00 hourly. This base pay range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
