You will collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to analyze data trends, develop reports, and contribute to data-driven strategies that enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Data Collection and Management:Gather and organize large sets of structured and unstructured data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and project management tools.Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing validation checks and cleansing processes.Data Analysis:Utilize statistical methods and analytical techniques to interpret complex data sets related to engineering projects, performance metrics, and operational efficiency.Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform project planning and execution.Reporting and Visualization:Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate findings to stakeholders in an accessible manner.Present data insights and recommendations to engineering teams, project managers, and executive leadership.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with engineering teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support for ongoing projects.Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and present findings, ensuring alignment with project goals.Predictive Modeling:Develop predictive models to forecast project timelines, resource allocation, and potential risks based on historical data.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies that optimize project outcomes.Tool Development and Automation:Identify opportunities for automation in data collection and reporting processes to enhance efficiency.Develop and maintain analytical tools and databases to support ongoing data analysis efforts.Quality Assurance:Conduct regular audits of data quality and reporting processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Provide training and support to team members on data analysis tools and methodologies.Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.Proven experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python, or similar).Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database management and querying. Strong knowledge of Excel for data manipulation and analysis. Familiarity with engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera) is a plus.Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation abilities to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
