Compensation: $47.62 - $63.73 per hour

Overview

Situated in Belleville, our organization is dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of healthcare services to the residents of northern New Jersey. With a team of over 700 physicians and 2,100 staff members, we deliver advanced medical treatments for numerous health conditions. Our facility features specialized centers for wound care, sleep disorders, bariatrics, orthopedics, cardiac services, cancer treatment, emergency care, and more. In 2017, we completed a significant expansion, introducing a modern four-story building that includes a private 32-bed Intensive Care Unit, a new main entrance and lobby, a retail pharmacy, a patient registration area, and an expanded emergency department.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Associate degree in nursing
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • At least one (1) year of RN experience in a telemetry unit
  • Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and writing skills

Certifications and Licenses

• Active New Jersey RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ endorsement
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire

Scheduling Requirements

• Full-time position
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend is mandatory; weekday schedule will vary based on departmental needs

Essential Functions

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for organizing and delivering individualized, age-appropriate care to patients within their assigned unit, supporting overall medical care. The RN aligns with the organization's philosophy, objectives, and mission, adhering to the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, the Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements, and other regulatory standards. The RN also engages in patient education and discharge planning, as well as participating in unit performance improvement initiatives.
