The ideal candidate will be well-versed in utilizing advanced technologies to process these communications in a professional, efficient manner. Join us and be part of a rapidly growing team that's truly making a difference!ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage online service accounts including Healow, ZocDoc, patient portal, and webchatAppointment scheduling, demographic updates, and routing messages to appropriate team membersManage email requests from proxy accountsTroubleshoot portal issuesVerify and update patient insurance informationEmpathize with and coach patients in navigating the healthcare systemMeet performance metrics and service level criteriaIdentify special needs and take proper steps to ensure patient concerns are addressed appropriatelyWork well with a diverse group of professionals in a team environmentProactively identify opportunities for improvement in work processes and/or setting.Follow all HIPAA and privacy rules while discussing sensitive health information with the patient or their authorized delegates.Follow all clinical safety protocols and infection control proceduresMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalent1-2 years of related experience in a medical office or healthcare settingExperience using medical EMR systemsExcellent customers service and communication skillsWork efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment utilizing advanced communication technologiesKnowledge of HIPAA rules and regulationsPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Experience in a Primary Care office settingAthena EMR experience
