Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Clinical Decision Unit position in Asheville, NC, requiring at least 2 years of recent PCU experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Day shift position with hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Clinical Decision Unit setting
• 13-week travel contract

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in a PCU or telemetry setting
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for PCU RNs
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
• One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
