Someone who brings energy to every touchpoint, stays disciplined in their outreach, and works closely with operations to deliver events that exceed expectations.If you're ready to build a book of business and grow with one of the most recognizable brands in sports entertainment — this is where you do it.THE ROLEThe Event Sales Manager drives revenue growth by owning the full sales cycle across inbound leads and outbound business development. This role is focused on pipeline growth, account conversion, and delivering high-quality client experiences that keep guests coming back.As a leader of a high-energy, guest-facing venue, this role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with availability to work extended hours during peak periods, special events , and high-volume seasons.WHAT YOU WILL DOExecute the Full Sales CycleManage a high-volume inbound pipeline while executing consistent outbound prospecting during daily Power HoursOwn every stage of the sale — from first inquiry through tour, proposal, and closeDeliver in-person selling experiences through venue tours and client touchpoints that convert opportunitiesGrow accounts by identifying upsell opportunities and maximizing the value of each client relationshipDeliver a Best-in-Class Guest ExperienceProvide an exceptional client experience from the initial inquiry through post-event follow-upPartner with Operations and the Culinary Team to ensure flawless event executionMaintain detailed, accurate communication on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to prevent day-of issuesRepresent the Topgolf brand with professionalism and hospitality in every interactionStay Sharp on Business PerformanceReview daily performance metrics, key numbers, and lead rotations to track progress and identify gapsMaintain pipeline accuracy and data integrity to support strong forecastingIdentify opportunities for sales process improvement and share them with leadershipDrive awareness of the Topgolf brand in the community through networking and professional engagementOperate as a Team PlayerParticipate in daily huddles, weekly sales meetings, and 1:1s with sales leadershipStay aligned on priorities, targets, and execution standards across the venueDemonstrate Topgolf's Core Values in every interaction: Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and CaringCORE COMP E TENCIES FOR SUCCESSDrives Results | Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.Demonstrates a strong drive to achieve meaningful revenue results every dayDrives every opportunity in the pipeline to successful completion and closureShows determination in the face of objections, slow periods, and competitive pressureSets high standards for personal performance and holds yourself accountable to themCustomer Focus | Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.Independently anticipates and meets client needs from inquiry through post-event follow-upFollows up with clients to ensure events were executed to their full satisfactionSearches continuously for ways to improve the client experience and grow account valueInternalizes customer feedback and applies it to improve future sales and event outcomesCommunicates Effectively | Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.Clear, concise, and professional in all client and internal communicationsListens attentively to client needs and tailors' proposals and solutions accordinglyShares pipeline updates and event details with leadership and operations as neededIs clear and thorough in BEO documentation and reporting to ensure seamless event executionEnsures Accountability | Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.Takes full ownership of personal pipeline performance and revenue resultsMonitors own metrics daily and adjusts approach when activity or conversion is laggingTakes responsibility for both successes and shortfalls without deflectingFollows through on every commitment made to clients, the operations team, and sales leadershipQUALIFICATIONS5+ years of progressive sales experience, including leadership of direct reportsBachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be consideredProven success in high-volume events or hospitality sales environmentsProgressive, relevant experience within the hospitality industry preferredStrong proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM; Excel and reporting toolsMust be 21 years of age or older as required by state or local lawPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to remain stationary for extended periods of time, including working at a desk, computer workstation, or within the venueAbility to regularly move throughout the venue to conduct site tours, support event setup walkthroughs, and engage with guests and operational teamsAbility to occasionally lift, carry, and/or move up to 25 poundsAbility to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in person, by phone, and electronically; including high-volume client outreach and internal team communicationsAbility to hear and respond to verbal communication in a venue environment, including areas with moderate to high levels of background noise during events and peak service periodsVisual acuity sufficient to read documents, computer screens, CRM dashboards, BEOs, and written correspondenceSounds like a fit?
