About the Opportunity We are conducting a confidential search for a Chief Analytics Officer with a leading independent media agency. Position Overview We are seeking an exceptional Chief Analytics Officer (CAO) to lead and evolve next-generation measurement, attribution, and analytics capabilities. This is both a strategic leadership role and a hands‑on client leadership position. The successful candidate will lead a team of data scientists, analysts, measurement specialists, and technology partners while also serving as a senior advisor to key clients. The CAO will be responsible for building best‑in‑class capabilities in Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), attribution, incrementality testing, media measurement, forecasting, audience analytics, and AI‑powered insights that directly connect marketing investment to business performance. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Lead and inspire the organization's Data & Analytics function Drive best‑in‑class measurement, attribution, analytics, and AI capabilities Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Recruit, mentor, and develop high‑performing analytics talent Partner closely with executive leadership to shape long‑term business and growth strategies Measurement & Attribution Leadership Oversee measurement frameworks across client portfolios Lead the development and implementation of: Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) Multi‑Touch Attribution (MTA) Incrementality Testing Customer Journey Analytics Forecasting and Scenario Planning Brand and Performance Measurement Econometric Modeling Ensure clients have clear, actionable visibility into how media investments are driving business outcomes Translate complex analytical findings into practical business solutions Serve as the executive analytics lead for key client relationships Present measurement strategies and business insights directly to C‑suite executives and senior marketing leaders Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations Build trusted advisor relationships with clients and strategic partners Technology & Innovation Evaluate and implement emerging analytics, AI, and measurement technologies Drive the integration of first‑party data, cloud platforms, clean rooms, and advanced modeling solutions Partner with technology providers to create scalable analytics products and services Identify opportunities to automate reporting, insight generation, and optimization processes Business Growth Support new business pitches and client growth initiatives Develop differentiated analytics capabilities that strengthen the organization's competitive position Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion Qualifications Required Experience 15+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, measurement, attribution, or related disciplines Senior leadership experience within a media agency, consulting firm, technology company, or client‑side marketing organization Deep expertise in: Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) Media measurement Advanced analytics Statistical modeling Proven experience leading and developing high‑performing teams Strong client‑facing and executive presentation skills Desired Experience Experience with AI‑driven analytics and machine learning applications Knowledge of retail media, CTV, digital media, search, social, linear, and full‑funnel omnichannel measurement Experience working with major analytics and cloud platforms Experience managing large‑scale enterprise measurement programs What Success Looks Like Within the first six months, the successful candidate will: Enhance the organization's measurement and attribution capabilities Strengthen relationships with key clients through strategic analytics leadership Expand advanced measurement solutions across the client portfolio Develop scalable analytics processes that improve efficiency and effectiveness Build and lead a high‑performing team recognized for innovation and business impact What We're Looking For Beyond technical expertise, we are seeking a leader who brings: Exceptional communication and storytelling skills Intellectual curiosity and a passion for innovation Strong business acumen and commercial thinking Proactive problem‑solving and an ownership mentality The ability to simplify complexity and inspire confidence A collaborative leadership style that motivates teams and builds trust with clients Strong operational leadership and the ability to drive results through others #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential
