About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Operations, a key executive role that demands a dynamic and seasoned leader with a strong background in the life sciences industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of operations, including manufacturing, quality systems, supply chain, tech transfer, and facilities. This role requires driving operational performance to meet company objectives, particularly in the context of scaling for complex product launches. The Head of Operations will also oversee the enterprise cost structure, capital allocation, and resource management, and must be prepared to report operational performance at the Board level and represent operations to external stakeholders. Applicants for the Head of Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have at least 10 years' of progressive operations leadership experience in biotech, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing. A deep, hands-on expertise in either multifluidics platform manufacturing or advanced supply chain operations is essential. The role demands a proven track record in scaling operations for new product introductions, strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and experience in lean, fast-moving environments. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills, and be capable of fostering alignment with commercial, finance, and R&D teams to support the company's growth and strategic goals.
