Title: Nurse Practitioner – Pediatrics

Location: Bronx, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $135,000 – $150,000 annually (Based on experience) + Benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our outpatient pediatric practice in the Bronx, NY. In this role, you will provide comprehensive, family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents while working alongside physicians and a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric assessments, physical exams, and developmental evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
• Perform office-based procedures, including immunizations and wound care.
• Conduct well-child visits and preventive health screenings.
• Educate patients and families on child development, nutrition, safety, and disease prevention.
• Manage chronic conditions such as asthma, ADHD, diabetes, obesity, and allergies.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR/EHR system.

Qualifications

Required

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
• Current Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification (PNCB, ANCC, or equivalent).
• Active New York RN and APRN licenses.
• Current BLS certification.

Preferred

• Outpatient pediatric experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
• EMR/EHR experience.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
